The LÖWENPALAIS and its owner Jörg Starke are famous in Berlin for their engagement for excellent art and artists.
In the 1920th the Löwenpalais was a celebre place where the art scene from the exciting Berlin at that time met, danced and performed. Marlene Dietrich was one of the regular guests. In our times the house saw artists like Yoko Ono or Vievienne Westwood.
It is a very privileged atmosphere, elegant and subtle and from high quality.
Vernissage and finnisage of JAM's exhibition 'OBSESSION AND HARMONY' was covered by FRITZZ KINGDOM, a young band from Berlin, and MASA, a japanese vibraphonist and painter. Two unforgettable events.
JAM came the first time to Berlin to open his exhibition 'Eleganz und Avangarde' in the well known Löwenpalais in Berlin Grunewald. The visitors were fascinated by his art and his charming personality. It was a great success. Besides that he was invited to show is jewellry art at the Berlin Fashion Show. An international fair that attracted many young fashion designers. As guestspeaker he opened the THAI ART EXHIBITION in the Foreign Office (Außenministerium) in Berlin.
CONCERT FOR JAM by FRIZZKINGDOM
FRIZZ KINGDOM was quite a succesfull Band from Berlin. When Detlev and JAM visited one of their concerts they decided spontaneously to do a concert for JAM at his exhibition in Löwenpalais. This is concrete culture crossing: Thailand - Germany.
All in all it was a great, sympathic, loveley, extravagant and sweet combination of different people with the same interest in art - here in Löwenpalais especially in Thai and German culture.
Thank you JAM!
MASAYOSHI FUJITA finissage JAM
MASAYOSHIA FUJITA was a highlight at the finissage of JAM's exhibition in Löwenpalais in Berlin. MASA has develloped the art of vibraphone from jazz to spheric music. His unique style impressed all the visitors at this event.
MASAYOSHI FUJITA's art has many aspects. One of the are traditional wood paintings. One of them one can see at the entrance of one of Bangkoks most famous restaurants: KALAPAPREUK. It was founded by JAM'S grandfather.
